I agree with many of the lower ratings in that this book has a number of errors. I find it very sad that a reputable publisher like Wolters Kluer hasn't published a webpage (or something similar) with the corrections noted. Very poor product.In addition, there are too many questions in the workbook that don't provide the answer, rather it refers you back to the book. Just plain lazy, IMO.You're better off doing the questions on The Point, the affiliated website.
Finding too many answers that contradict the textbook or are just downright wrong and are probably a typo. It makes it hard to study when I have to take time away from studying to do extra research to figure out if I'm totally clueless or if the study guide just has typos. Wish I didn't purchase; it's too unreliable. It also doesn't give rationales for most of the answers.
I tried studying the chapters from last semester and I have found the study guide doesn’t match the text book in the way they ask the question. When trying to find word for word answers where it says the answers should be they aren’t there (like in tables and charts). Don’t buy this study guide.
Maybe you are not supposed to put the answers right into the book, they don't give enough space. Some sections the answer key did not correlate or seemed incorrect for the question. Wish the answer key would reference where the information is located so I could review it- some things could not be found by me.
Easy read, just LOONNNG winded... I rather just read a condensed ATI book and get the same results..... But, teachers LOVE pulling questions from this thing, so you have to buy it, so you can answer questions pertaining to specific lines in the text if they use the test bank associated.
WHILE I FOUND THIS BOOK TO BE SOME WHAT HELPFUL, I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED TO FIND THAT THE NCLEX STYLE QUESTIONS AT THE END OF EACH CHAPTER HAD NO!!!RATIONALES.. THAT'S CRAZY... WHEN YOU'RE PREPARING TO TAKE THE NCLEX THE RATIONALES ARE OF THE ESSENCE.......
I purchased this or my med-surg class to go along with the matching textbook. I used it for the first few chapters and then quit using it. I just found than studying in other ways was more helpful for me and this study guide was not that beneficial for me.
This is more of a workbook. It wasn't what I was looking for. I was looking for a summary type of study guide. I bought incredibly easy medical surgical and it was perfect.
