What a great story. I fell in love with main characters. There is love and heartbreak. Art is amazing daddy, Simon is fantastic boy. Expect the unexpected. Highly recommend book.

Art and SimonThis one hit all my buttons! Wow it started just with some tasty sexiness, and with all the right feelings!Simon is an omega and at twenty seven he is only in for a one-night stand. Because there is no Alpha who wants to have a relationship with an omega who has a tiny chance to ever give birth. His heart aches with the idea there will be never be a child of his own and there will be no child of him ever read one of his many child-books.Art, an Alpha of forty-five, is a widower for five years and every time this little attractive omega with his bookmobile visit his town, his Alpha yearns. As being a Daddy he wants to take care of this boy, for the first time in five years his heart is longing.Simon can’t understand why this beautiful straightforwardly lumberjack wants to take care of him, a invisible omega without the ability to slick. But when they start something together there are some delightful scenes. Hot, steamy and delicious. With Simon’s approaching heat Simon stands before some decisions and when these are taken from him he is devastated. This story, my goodness, I loved it. Art and Simon characters are so kind and flawed.Art being a Daddy with BDSM experience was a delicious addition and very well woven into this story. The joy Art gives Simon but also the hurt, was written in a strong and heartfelt way.Simon his longing and yearning went straight through my heart. Goshh it was emotional.Emotional in the way it made my heart hurt, wetness rolling down my cheeks. It was a good balanced written journey, all area with the right weight. The scenery was wonderful and the whole story original and intriguing. A beautiful bubble with a wonderful diversity of personalities, with books, friends, families, hurt, romance, some kink, red butt, about taking control and giving over, but above all about hope and deep rooted claiming love!I was glued to the pages I read this journey in one breath.

Arc provided courtesy of the author. All reviews are my voluntary and honest opinion.Simon says screw the patriarchy, and I concur.Society considers Simon broken. Omegas who can't slick are defective and taboo. Alphas will still take what he offers, but they aren't exactly courteous. What I like: I'm a fan of age difference, particularly guys in their twenties with guys in their forties. Enter hottie, Art, a red headed, flannel shirt wearing Daddy who frequents Simon's book mobile, and doesn't treat Simon like an inferior. What you need to know: The book is A/B/O and contains some of the societal politics of an A/B/O society. The book contains m-preg, and may be rough for someone with infertility to read, if infertility is triggering for you, please be advised. The main critique I have is that their relationship moves so fast. I understand falling into heat and A/B/O. It helps that Art has been interested for awhile, but even with certain emergency factors -- after Art's concerns about his past, he's jumping into a major decision very quickly.I think the characters need more page time to establish more chemistry early on. A few more dates, maybe. The chemistry does get decidedly more concrete and there is some sweet library nesting going on. Overall these two are total cuties, and I'm glad they get their hea. I'd definatly recommend this to anyone into m-preg, a/b/o, daddy kink, and shmoop.Additional note: Art's first partner was an Alpha to Omega trans person, the book has excellent transgender themes and characters for those looking for more transgender representation in their books.

If you're in the mood for some hot mpreg, knotting, heats, nesting, lots of emotional with angsty histories, you gotta give this story a try! This is the second book in the Nerds who Knot series, and although this one does stand well on its own, I think you'd enjoy it more if you read the first one since Isaac is in this one as well.Simon runs a bookmobile - a mobile library, that he drives around - often going to small towns that aren't on his route to get books out to kids that need them most. He yearns for children of his own, but his biology has left him unable for that to happen. On his route, he meets Art, an older alpha who lost his omega five years ago and hasn't fully moved on. The two experience a crazy hot hook up and then both realize that they want more, totally terrified that it's going to fall apart and leave them both even more miserable than they were before.I love the world building in this story, how omegas and alphas work, how Art's previous partner was a trans omega - I just love the thought taken into describing the "rules" to this world. There is plenty of emotion, Simon learning to trust Art, Art learning that he needs to be up front with things, and both of them realizing that they are totally perfect for each other. On their journey together, there is some crazy hot moments between the two of them, a bit of kink, some lovely daddy kink, and it's all just written very sexy and sensual. I loved it!Can't wait for the next book - hey, maybe that sexy alpha professor needs a story!I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Would give this a "0" stars if possible. This vendor is NOT selling the publication of Rilke's book, but has gotten the text and laid it out (probably with MS Word, horrible for layout) and done a cheap printing of it. Am I going to return it? Probably not, only because it's more effort to pack it, take it to the P.O. and mail. But I'm very angry about this book, I do publication layout professionally, and am an editor, so the extra spaces between words, the dropped punctuation, and visually awful layout is an abomination to Rilke's work. I know how they did it: they stripped the text out of an e-book, put it into Word and left-aligned, never proofed it, and sent it to China to be printed. Monstrous. Never buy from this outfit.

Whatever kind of writer or creative artist you are, Rilke's Letters to a Young Poet is a voice worth listening to. The letters were written in the early 1900s when Rilke was about 30 years old. He wrote ten letters to a young poet named Franz Kappus, offering not only advice but a philosophy on how to cultivate the creative spirit. As a fiction author with three novels out, I often get discouraged. We writers know that art and struggle go hand and hand. I’ve read all the pep blogs about following your passion and keeping the faith, recognizing the common Van Gogh blues, blah, blah, blah. Rilke’s book is such a refreshing look at why a person writes at all. He addresses doubt, loneliness vs solitude, love, and patience. This is probably one of the most impressive of books I’ve read on this subject. The thoughts in this little 100-page book is a true source and one to keep on the night stand. I love to open a page at random and see what Rilke has to say to me for the day. Page 61 told me this morning that “We must embrace struggle. Every living thing conforms to it. Everything in nature grows and struggles in its own way, establishing its own identity, insisting on it at all cost, against all resistance.” This book is for any artist who wants inspiration on how to live as an artist.

Louth's translation of Rilke's Letters to a Young Poet is a mediocre translation, does not match that of M.D. Herter Norton's (Letters to a Young Poet), whose quintessential translation must be the standard for all others of Rilke's work. You cannot see it the following pages in the Look Inside feature, but the following famous passage in Letter 8 is an excellent example. "Mr. Kappus," the young poet, might as well be us, and the passage can be read without the words "dear Mr. Kappus" and stands alone -- at least in the M.D. Herter Norton translation.M.D. Herter Norton's translation (Letters to a Young Poet), Letter 8, reads: "How should we be able to forget those ancient myths that are the beginning of all peoples? The myths about dragons that, at the last moment, turn into princesses. Perhaps all the dragons of our lives are princesses, who are only waiting to see us, once beautiful and brave. Perhaps everything terrible is, in its deepest being, something helpless that wants help from us. So, you must not be frightened, dear Mr. Kappus, if a sadness rises up before you, larger than any you have ever seen. If a restiveness like light and cloud-shadows, passes over your hands and over all you do. You must think that something is happening to you. That life has not forgotten you. That it holds you in its hand. It will not let you fall. Why do you want to shut out of your life any agitation, any pain, any melancholy, since you do really do not know what these states are working upon you? ..."Compare this to Charlie Louth's translation of this same passage in Letter 8 (Letters to a Young Poet):"How can we forget those ancient myths found at the beginnings of all peoples? The myths about the dragons who at the last moment turn into princesses? Perhaps all the dragons of our lives are princesses, only waiting for the day when they will see us handsome and brave? Perhaps everything terrifying is deep down a helpless thing that needs our help. So, dear Mr. Kappus, you shouldn't be dismayed if a sadness rises up in front of you, greater than any you have ever seen before; or if a disquiet plays over your hands and over all your doings like light and cloud-shadow. You must think that something is happening with you; that life has not forgotten you; that it holds you in its hand; it will not let you fall. Why should you want to exclude from your life all unsettling, all pain, all depression of spirit, when you don't know what work it is these states are performing within you? ... "Note that word order in changed in by Louth to give a different meaning, and this is often the case. Also, compare to Stephen Mitchell's translation of the passage in Letter 8 (Letters to a Young Poet (Modern Library) and (Letters to a Young Poet):"How could we forget those ancient myths that stand the beginning of all the races, the myths about dragons that are at the last moment transformed into princesses? Perhaps all the dragons of our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love. So you mustn't be frightened, dear Mr. Kappus, if a sadness rises up in front of you, larger than any you have ever seen; if an anxiety, like light and cloud-shadows, moves over your hands and over everything you do. You must realize that something is happening to you, that life has not forgotten you, that it holds you in its hand and will not let you fall. Why to you want to shut out of your life any uneasiness, any misery, any depression. since after all you don't know what work these conditions are doing inside you?...."Really, "that wants our love"? Our LOVE? No reason for this translator's license, none at all. Mitchell's translation likewise strips the Letters of poetry, and, of note, his introduction to the Letters is somewhat bizarre. If one goes further back in this letter, to Rilke's discussion of solitude, the demarcation between the beautiful and the mediocre translation is equally clear. I find M.D. Herter Norton's translation by far the most beautiful, poetic and meaningful, although reading other translations can add to the reader's understanding, or else, show the reader which translation speaks to him.On the other hand, here is an opportunity to compare, free of charge, three translations. I have chosen to confine myself to the translation by M.D. Herter Norton's of Rilke's Letters to a Young Poet, since I don't want to interrupt the flow of reading as I study these great letters, and feel it is best to choose one. It is a shame the M.D. Herter Norton translation is not currently in print in hardcover. Still, there are used copies to be found and I'd rather buy several paperback copies of Norton's than have a nice looking hardcover of a mediocre translation.

I loved it! It reminded of the literature I had to read many years ago, when I was in college. Notice I wrote the verb "had". I am feeling a little guilty of not appreciating the works I had to read, then, and puzzled, by how I admire them now. The content of these letters are timeless. "It is perhaps no use now to reply to your actual words; for what can I say about your disposition to doubt or about your inability to bring your outer and inner life into harmony, or about anything else that oppresses you-: it is always what I have said before; always the wish that you might be able to find patience enough in yourself to endure, and a single-heartedness enough to believe; that you might win increasing trust in what is difficult, and in your solitude among other people. And for the rest, let life happen to you. Believe me:life is right, at all events".I think it reads like a prayer. I have no knowledge of the German Language, but if this translation conjures this kind of emotion, imagine the impact it should have on the reader that reads the original.Thank you!

Review

“A remarkable book of immersive reporting.… Bruder is an acute and compassionate observer.” - Margaret Talbot, The New Yorker“This is an important book.… A calmly stated chronicle of devastation. But told as story after story, it is also a riveting collection of tales about irresistible people―quirky, valiant people who deserve respect and a decent life.” - Louise Erdrich, author of Future Home of the Living God and The Round House“Bruder is a poised and graceful writer.” - Parul Sehgal, New York Times“[A] devastating, revelatory book.” - Timothy R. Smith, Washington Post“A first-rate piece of immersive journalism.” - San Francisco Chronicle“Stirring reportage.” - O Magazine“At once wonderfully humane and deeply troubling, the book offers an eye-opening tour of the increasingly unequal, unstable, and insecure future our country is racing toward.” - Astra Taylor, The Nation“Some readers will come because they’re enamored of road narratives, but Bruder’s study should be of interest to anyone who cares about the future of work, community, and retirement.” - Peter C. Baker, Pacific Standard“Important, eye-opening journalism.” - Kim Ode, Minneapolis Star Tribune“Bruder tells [this] story with gripping insight, detail and candor. In the hands of a fine writer, this is a terrific profile of a subculture that gets little attention, or is treated by the media as a quirky hobby, rather than a survival strategy.” - Peter Simon, Buffalo News

This is one of the more profoundly disturbing books I have read, and it's a possible contemporary successor to Barbara Ehrenreich's Nickel and Dimed.Ms Bruder follows "workampers" in their itinerant, gypsy-esque lives around the US doing low-wage, unstable work out of necessity. This demographic is disproportionately older (55-75) and constituted by women. For various reasons, they've been forced to the extreme economic and social margins of American society. To witness their cheerfulness amidst a grueling, dystopian vulnerability (economic, physical, and mental) evokes a profoundly unsettling sense of perturbation from me.Our amusement parks, our produce, our favorite campsites, and *even our packages from Amazon* depend substantially on impoverished and, frankly, desperate seniors. They live in vans, old RVs, and even cars permanently camping while taking short-term, dirty, and dangerous minimum wage jobs. They do this at the expense of their physical health. They're encouraged by being told that they're not working hard enough if they're NOT taking at least 2 tylenols at the end of their shift - free OTC pain meds being a "perk" of working in an Amazon warehouse. Jeff Bezos loves these workers, and hopes to eventually employ all vankampers for at least one stint by the end of the decade. Why shouldn't he? They're a godsend. They bring the non-cynical can-do work ethic of yesteryear, they're economically desperate, and Federal tax credits offset 25-40% of their wages!Welcome to the new America, where downwardly mobile ex-middle class grannies are working themselves into an early grave for free super-saver shipping.

I found this book extremely informative but touching as well. I read it in one night. After finishing I wanted to know what happened to the people Jessica befriended. I read the book sitting under the canopy of my aging Class C surrounded by $200,000 plus RVs. Our "camp" spot $60/night. I have visited many of the blogs and web pages mentioned in the book. We have traveled full time as part of my job for 12 years. We have hiked so many trails and visited a huge percentage of state and national parks. It was our intention when we actually retire in a few years to volunteer as camp hosts as a way of giving back and extending our retirement dollars. I have followed workampers blogs and they do all seem quite upbeat and thought this would be a fun thing to do also. Thank you Jessica for all your research and for opening my eyes. We seem like the poor house on the block but never realized their was such a disparity among nomads. I assume they are just now allowed in to the places we stay, rigs must be 10 years or younger, you must prove you have 100,000 insurance, you have to have a background check if staying in any one place for longer than a month. I have a sneaky suspicion that many of these bigger blogs & websites with the exception of RVtravel.com are supported by the RV industry which is questionable at best. Please keeping digging because the next expose needs to be on the RV industry and their shoddy workmanship and data mining techniques.

"Depressingly Informative" is how I would describe this book. The idea that any one of us reading this may end up with no workable income, no medical insurance, no ability to make mortgage payments or to pay off the bills already accrued is devastating. Being in the age group repensented at a time when supposedly guaranteed "fixed" income, from social security and pensions is becoming targeted by the cut-the-taxes-to-the-rich people is really scary. This could be me--or you-- in a dilapidated RV living from genuinely exhausting part-time gig to part-time gig, no running water, no electricity, at ages 60, 65, 70+.........and the solution the author offers? There is none. She is as terrified as the rest of us. No matter what kind of happy pill the Nomads take, nothing can change the facts that they are basically destitute and without a financially stable future.Don't read this if you're behind in your mortgage payments or are facing downsizing. Trust me.

Next time you're at WalMart or any big box store, look at the far end of the parking lot. Chances are, there are a few motorhomes or campers there, maybe a couple of vans. So what, people have to shop, right? But look again. Was that van there the last time you were here, too? Slowly it dawns on you that someone is living in the camper.Jessica Bruder, a magazine journalist, spent three years researching the growing phenomenon of people, mostly of retirement age, living in their vehicles. While many embrace the Route 66-type freedom, few would have chosen to make it their way of life. They were forced by financial circumstances to give up their homes or apartments and living in a vehicle allows them some shelter, some mobility, and an excuse to claim that they are not actually homeless, just "houseless."Many are itinerant workers, moving to an area near an Amazon warehouse in the months before Christmas, to make minimum wage packing boxes, then on to sugar beet farms at harvest time to pick produce for minimum wage.Bruder profiles some of the nomads, tries it out for herself for a while, finds out how and why they do it, and leaves the conclusions up to the reader. It's a fascinating story and shocking. And it scares me more than a little to think that with just a bit of bad luck, it could be me. Or you.

Vibrant and sobering take on where America's middle class has gone. With real middle class wages stuck in the seventies, too many baby boomers have reached retirement before their nest egg can support them. Trapped between rising rents, ancient lingering student loans and ageism, workers in their sixties and seventies are living in vans, cars and old school busses while crossing the country for minimum wage seasonal jobs at parks, beet farms and Amazon fulfillment centers. Survivalism, comradery, ingenuity and humor have created fascinating tribes that celebrate and help one another in this quasi-dystopian culture on wheels. Great idea and excellent reporting!

I'll admit it, I was not willing to commit the time to read all 2000 or so pages (or whatever it is) of the entire Urantia Book. Still, I was curious to know a little about it.I read excerpts and commentary complied/written by Elstrott in The Fifth Revelation (which I do recommend), but I wanted more. I thought that this book, The Center Within, would be like that, but unfortunately it was not so.The Center Within appears to be a collection of "channeled" (not sure what else to call them) messages that are said to be related to the Urantia teachings. There are quotes from the Urantia book after each message on a similar point, presumably selected by the editors.I realize that the Urantia Book itself may have a similar "channeled" origin (again using this terminology for lack of better), but this makes "double channeling" I guess and a bit much for me.In fairness, the messages are not bad, although a little repetitive and preachy at times. I did find some to be quite inspirational, but overall this book was just not I was looking for when I got it.

For those who feel the 2,097 page tome, called The Urantia Book, is too much to handle all at once, I highly recommend :The Center Within" as a heart-based way to feel God's love through the UB. Short paragraphs followed by quotations or sections of the UBook seem to be just the ticket for busy Urantians who can only manage small bites of Truth to absorb and practice daily. Patience is required reading the Big Blue Book, but having an intro book lights the fires of a spiritual seeker.

This book is a great inspiration for daily thoughts with Urantia quotes at the bottom. A highly inspired book for reading. I highly recomend I purchased several for my truth seeking friends.

I had expected a more traditional book-style text, explaining some of the principles of the Urantia book in easy language. Instead, it was in the form of short 1-2 page essays. Each one was accompanied by a matching excerpt from the Urantia book. Even though it wasn't what I expected, I enjoyed it. The channelled messages do give additional insights and advice for daily living. I'm marking it down a bit because about 30 pages were out of order. I had considered sending it back, but the postage would not have been all covered by Amazon, plus, I thought chances were good I would get another misprinted copy. I'll keep it around to refer to from time to time whenever I need a dose of inspiration.

Good insights into the UB revelations and it cleared up some ambiguities for me.Good "exercise" program, dive in, find your wondrous being!Blessings to all

This book changed my life, it really brings out the message of the Urantia book & got me into short daily meditation with my thought adjuster

A excellent tool for walking the walk in seeking spiritual growth.

very informative

After a huge sigh post election sigh of relief , I asked myself why is the leftist / bias media doubling downwith their their attacks on Trump? How long will they keep this up? Are we in for an extended conflict between left and right? I dusted off my 2006 copy of David Horowitz "The Shadow Party" and got my answer. If you are looking for answers/explanation that outlines how George Soros and the radicals from the 1960's seized control of the Democrat Party and created this conflict, this book is for you. The book is still relevant today, truly enlightening and answers fundamental questions like, what motivates a guy like George Soros and why does he so religiously advocate an open society? The following is an excerpt from another online source, but gives you an snippet of what Horowitz discusses in depth. "George Soros was born to Tividar and Erzebat Schwartz, non-practicing Jews, in Budapest, Hungary on August 12, 1930. Tivadar was an attorney by profession, but the consuming passion of his life was the promotion of Esperanto—an artificial, "universal" language created during the 1880s in hopes that people worldwide might be persuaded to drop their native tongues and speak Esperanto instead—thereby, in theory at least, minimizing their nationalist impulses while advancing intercultural harmony. In 1936, Tivadar changed his family surname to Soros—a future-tense Esperanto verb meaning "will soar." When the Nazis occupied Budapest in 1944, Tivadar decided to split up his family so as to minimize the chance that all its members would be killed together. For each of them—his wife and two sons—he purchased forged papers identifying them as Christians; paid government officials to conceal his family's Jewish heritage from the German and Hungarian fascists; and bribed Gentile families to take them into their homes. As for George in particular, the father paid a Hungarian government official named Baumbach to claim George as his Christian godson, "Sandor Kiss," and to let the boy live with him in Budapest. One of Baumbach's duties was to deliver deportation notices to Hungary's Jews, confiscating their property and turning it over to Germany. Young George Soros sometimes accompanied the official on his rounds. Many years later, in December 1998, a CBS interviewer would ask Soros whether he had ever felt any guilt about his association with Baumbach during that period. Soros replied: "… I was only a spectator ... I had no role in taking away that property. So I had no sense of guilt."Soros today recalls the German occupation of Hungary as "probably the happiest year of my life." "For me," he elaborates, "it was a very positive experience. It's a strange thing because you see incredible suffering around you and the fact you are in considerable danger yourself. But you're fourteen years old, and you don't believe that it can actually touch you. You have a belief in yourself. You have a belief in your father. It's a very happy-making, exhilarating experience."In 1947, the Soros family relocated from Hungary to England, where George attended the London School of Economics (LSE). There, he was exposed to the works of the Viennese-born philosopher Karl Popper, who taught at LSE and whom Soros would later call his "spiritual mentor." (George Soros, Underwriting Democracy (1991), p. 170)Though Soros never studied directly under Popper, he read the latter's works and submitted some essays to him for review and comment. Most notably, Popper's 1945 book The Open Society and Its Enemies introduced Soros to the concept of an "open society," a theme that would play a central role in Soros's thought and activities for the rest of his life. The term "open society" was originally coined in 1932 by the French philosopher Henri Louis Bergson, to describe societies whose moral codes were founded upon "universal" principles seeking to enhance the welfare of all mankind—as opposed to "closed" societies that placed self-interest above any concern for other nations and cultures. (David Horowitz and Richard Poe, The Shadow Party (2006), p. 67) Popper readily embraced this concept and expanded upon it. In his view, the open society was a place that permitted its citizens the right to criticize and change its institutions as they saw fit; he rejected the imposed intellectual conformity, central planning, and historical determinism of Marxist doctrine. (Nicola Chalton, ed., Philosophers: Extraordinary People Who Altered The Course Of History (2008), p. 159) By Popper's reckoning, a society was "closed"—and thus undesirable—if it assumed that it was in any way superior to other societies. Likewise, any belief system or individual claiming to be in possession of "ultimate truth" was an "enemy" of the open society as well. Popper viewed all knowledge as conjectural rather than certain, as evolving rather than fixed. Thus, by logical extension, Popper did not share the American founders' confident assertion that certain truths were "self-evident," and that certain rights—such as the right to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," as referenced in the Declaration of Independence—were "unalienable" and thus not subject to doubt, because they had been granted to mankind by the ultimate authority, the "Creator." We shall see that George Soros, as he grew to maturity, would likewise reject the founders' premise. Indeed Soros would harbor great disdain for modern-day American political figures who displayed unshakeable confidence in their own culture's nobility, and who embraced the tenets of the Declaration and the U.S. Constitution as timeless, immutable truths. To Soros, "Popper's greatest contribution to philosophy" was his teaching that "the ultimate truth remains permanently beyond our reach." (George Soros, The Bubble of American Supremacy (2004), p. 193)

GREAT History Lesson. Didn't know the Clintons were so involved with George Soros, Saul Alinsky and the Open Society Movement. I learned SO I learned so MUCH about the real agenda of the Clintons & who is mentoring them. I understand now why we are experiencing so much unrest and I now understand why we have so much violence in our country. The current administration is following the Soros/Alinsky playbook, & their Rules for Radicals. No matter what your political views, this book is a great history lesson & it helps us understand WHY there is so much destruction, violence, poverty and unrest in our cities now. This is all part of the Soros/Alinsky playbook. Many of the riots & disturbances at political gatherings are planned and orchestrated by this administration and are from the Alinsky/Soros playbook. The Clintons & their inner circle, who they have been mentoring/working with for decades are the operatives who are carrying it out. This book & there are many others out, has been a real eye opener for me. It helped me understand WHY all this is happening in our country now. We are the next target on Soros's list of countries that he has and continues to work to bring down. Then he goes in and buys up all the valuable assets. They are getting wealthier & we are getting poorer and struggling more. What's wrong with this picture? History repeating itself. Educate yourself and ....WAKE UP AMERICA!

This book is a MUST READ ... for Democrats and Republicans alike. I first heard of George Soros in 1997. I met and became friends with a successful business man who had moved to California from his homeland, England. He told me of George Soros and his manipulation of The United Kingdom's economy/currency. I was dumbfounded and, almost, in disbelief that one man could do such damage to the economy/currency of an entire nation ... but, I did believe my friend. Since then, I've followed George Soros in a very general sort of way. I could see he was up to no good and that he was behind many of the irregularities in American politics ... but, I had NO IDEA of the extent of what was going on until reading this book! This book was written in 2006 ... so that now, eleven years later, the accuracy of the authors' insight and research is very apparent! Democrats take note: George Soros and his Shadow Party have infiltrated and influenced and are taking control of your party for their own clandestine and greedy purposes. It appears to me that The Shadow Party picked the Democrat Party to infiltrate and pollute first because Dems have a greater inclination toward change and empowering a big government. But, the Soros's (father and now son) are/have targeted the Republican Party, too. In a couple of elections it won't make any difference how we vote ... George Soros will be winner no matter what. This is the most sinister and dangerous assault upon The United States in our 240+ year history. I can't urge you enough ... READ THIS BOOK!!

Excellent book. It gives a very good insight into how these criminals think. It is NOT a book on conspiracy, it is book on facts. It is shocking to see how these three people have destroyed countries and are currently trying to destroy people and their countries all because of their greed, social experiments and arrogance.People will not put this book down once they start to read it. It is a big eye opener and people will start to see the criminal destruction of people's lives just for money and to see "what would happen if...." If you want to understand what has been going on around the world from the 1930's and who is controlling / destroying your life.I can guarantee you will suddenly understand why soros, clinton and obama were upset that Trump won the elections, they can't carry out their destruction of people and countries. This gives you an insight into soros's childhood working with the nazi's against his own people with no remorse.

By the end of 2015, I was bored out of my mind by mandalas. I went searching for other things to color. That was the year Adult Coloring was turning into a mania. All the books had relaxing mandalas to color. Christmas came and went and we all got pencil and gel sets and other coloring utensils and loads of books, basically all the same. By summer the mania, it had dropped off. However, new people had discovered that they could make money by not coloring in their own work. These people were called artists. They had imaginations. No computer could generate what they did.By 2017, there was a lull, but true artists had started putting out books with landscapes and people. Perhaps, getting permission or trading on open copyrights and illustrating classic books to color and add to your bookshelf. Also, people started making mandalas with flags and cartoons. Things started to pick up.2018 burst into bloom with fantasy artists who were drawing unicorns and dragons that were definitely not aimed at little children. There were fantasy woman and men, there were whole stories written by authors just to color. And adult coloring made a bigger comeback than the original. What happened was that, if you wanted to do mandalas, they were harder to find. Now the Jade Summer group of artists has come out with a Christmas mandala book that keeps up with the new trend and is still repetitive. This is the book. I, actually, bought it. It has some pictures that highlight one figure, like an angel or Santa or a gingerbread house, but still has a mandala surrounding it. Plus, there are NO doubles! If you are looking for something that is fun, has no extra small or intricate spaces, and can still be hung or framed, this book fills the bill. Take a breaking from work, shopping, wrapping and decorating; sit and relax before going to bed but keep yourself in a jolly festive mood and color this book.

I am very pleased with all the lovely Christmas designs in this mandala coloring book. It is unique and different from any of my other coloring books. I would recommend this for anyone who enjoys coloring Christmas themed artwork. The adorable mandalas really bring a smile to my face once they are colored. I love Jade Summer coloring books.

As usual, this book was on point. Christmas Mandalay that are not too hard or too easy. Fun patterns to color traditionally or out of the box. Great gift for someone to receive

Love this book! My daughter made me make copies of certain pages so she could color them different ways lol I adore all your books and hope some day to own them all

Another fun & entertaining adult coloring book byvJade Summer-it was overflowing with awesome holiday Mandalas of all kinds, you can free your mind from any stressors with this fun book!

I like the simplicity of the images. The mandalas are simple and cute. The reason I am giving this a 3 star rating is because the paper quality of this coloring book is terrible. It is thin and doesn't have much "tooth".

I really enjoy coloring mandalas and this book was so much fun to color at Christmas time. The mandalas are all so cute!

Great array of artwork. Not a fan of mandalas, but I had to have this book.

This audio drama on the life of Saint Patrick is an amazing presentation. It is 3 hours and 21 minutes in length. It brings to life this saint, in a vivid way. Having read a few versions of Patrick's The Confessions of Saint Patrick and Letter to Coroticus, it would appear to serve as source material. This presentation presents an man, a man who made mistakes, a man who found God, and a man who spent his life in service of God. It is told from the perspective of Patrick being under trial, and his role as bishop in jeopardy. The story is told back and forth from the trial to Patrick's memory spanning his whole life. Two different actors play the voice of Patrick; John Rhys-Davies as Patrick the elder and Seán T. Ó Meallaigh as young Patrick. The story begins on the day of his capture by Pirates and goes until he is preparing to head to an island on Lough Derg. It was awesome just closing my eyes and listening to this presentation. My son who is 10 came in when I was almost done and asked if I could start over and listen to it with him. (One of his middle names is Patrick and he has a devotion to the saint. This story presents not just the great saint but the man. His trials in school, in ministry and even the literal trial he underwent. It is very well done and I am thankful to have listened to such an excellent production. If you are a fan of the Saint, or just love all things Irish you should give this story a listen.

the audio story was an excellent example of the theater of the mind
