I bought this book to my son who after seeing the movies got hyped on learning about the other stories. I couldn't find some of the books in my country (Costa Rica) so I started looking for other options. I was about to buy the books separately but then I found this one at an unbeaten price. Although it's a bit heavy after a while--they're all 7 books included-- it's great to have them all together. The cons I found is that 1. since it's paperback the corners of the cover get aged easily and 2. really fine print. For children looking for easy reading, this is definitively not it since there are words and words with few pictures on each story. If your child loves reading no matter what, then proceed to check out. My son already finished book 1 and 2 and still reading!-----------Me encontre con este libro porque no encontraba todos los titulos individuales en Costa Rica. Iba a comprarlos por separado pero me encontre con esta compilacion de los 7 libros de Narnia a un precio inmejorable. El libro es pesado (son 7 libros en 1) y la letra es pequeña y las esquinas de la tapa se doblan facilmente, pero creo que fue muy buena inversion. NO es lectura ligera para niños que no les guste leer porque no tiene muchos dibujos... si al caso un par por libro. Sin embargo, si es un avido lector, le gustara mucho pues tiene una descripcion inmejorable. Se lo recomiendo! My hijo ya se leyo el libro 1 y 2 y aun lo esta leyendo :)
Para ser claro: me encanta el texto. Lo que no me gusta es el libro como entregado por Amazon. Este libro no es el mismo que encuentro en las tiendas. La cubierta es apenas papel duro (sin revestimiento) y tiene un error de impresion, y el papel se siente barato. Si solo quiere leer los libros de C. S. Lewis, compre esto. Si quieres nostalgia en tu estantería, pide esto en otro lugar.
Este libro es hermoso. No lo he podido empezar a leer, pero es...glorioso. Tal vez la letra sea un poco pequeña (necesitare espejuelos) pero, por lo demas es perfecto. Sus mapas, dibujos y tambien tener los 7 libros de Narnia en uno. Es asombroso tener esto en mi libreria. Lo disfrutare al maximo.
C.S. Lewis nunca se propuso hacer versiones fantasticas de las historias Biblicas, mas bien quiso que su profunda cosmovision y entendimiento del Cristianismo se destilaran en cualquier tema que escribiera. Y en las Cronicas de Narnia sucede justo eso, a lo largo de los relatos de fantasia llenos de belleza se hace presente una corriente Biblica que provee un entendimiento mas profundo de las verdades de Dios.Curiosamente, aunque es una obra de fantasia y no especificamente de teologia, al final de su lectura creo que terminamos apreciando mas al Dios de la Biblia y entendiendo mas de Sus principios que con muchos otros libros teologicos.
I liked that I could get all 7 books in one volume so my son could keep up with his Spanish reading over the summer.

While this series is my favorite and I'm thrilled to have it in Spanish, I was very disappointed with the quality of the cover. Instead of the same glossy cover as the English version, the Spanish version has a mat cover and the printed outer edge separates from the stronger backing when in contact with packaging materials.
